Dear Parents, Grandparents, Students and Friends:

The Dance Centre of Northwest Ohio is now holding registration for our new Dance Season!  You are invited to stop in during our Summer Workshop to visit the Dance Centre and/or register.  Our official open house is August 16th & August 17th from 5:00-8:00 pm and August 19th from 10:00-2:00 pm.  Our new season begins on September 6, 2017.

Located in the heart of downtown Whitehouse, the faculty and staff are looking forward to another successful dance season, celebrating 36 years of teaching dance to all ages in Northwest Ohio.  It is difficult to match the education, experience, knowledge and creativity of our faculty.

Why choose the Dance Centre?  Here are a few reasons:
▪    The Dance Centre is not "competition driven." The Dance Centre does not believe preparing students for “weekend” dance competitions is a means of valid dance training.
▪    Our attention is on each and every student. We are NOT focused only on a select group of competition dancers.
▪    Learning how to dance by "one dance routine after another" is not the avenue to learn how to dance.
That means...
▪    Students are taught an excellent dance foundation and dance technique. Dance terms are taught and are used in class and students learn how to count music.
▪    Our parents are allowed to observe classes every week.  This way we can build a relationship with the parents (or grandparents).  We know YOU by name.
▪    We have smaller classes so students receive individual attention.
▪    Experience teachers are teaching your child/children, not high school students.
▪    There are many performing opportunities for our students.  There is not an extra charge for rehearsals in preparation for performances.
▪    The Dance Centre is very involved in the community and supportive of the Anthony Wayne and surrounding school systems and community theaters.
The Dance Centre is a unique and family oriented dance school.

We have many performances and events scheduled over the next many months.  Our performance at the Mud Hens baseball game is slated for July 30th, “Dancing In the Park” on August 19th, the “Roche de Boeuf” parade and performance on September 23th, “Dad’s Night,” and the first “Hip Hop” Session begins in October, the Christmas Parade downtown Toledo in November and our KinderKombo Performance in December.

We look forward to meeting you and your child/children and welcome you to our dance family!

Thank you!
Miss Carol
